Taylor Swift Surprises Fans With Early Release of Final Episodes of Disney+ Docuseries

Taylor Swift is giving her fans an early holiday gift by accelerating the release of the final episodes of her Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era.

According to Disney+, the last two episodes of the six-part series will now premiere on December 23, two days earlier than originally planned. The streaming service announced the move on social media, calling it “an early gift to fans around the world.”

The docuseries offers a behind-the-scenes look at Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, which spanned sold-out stadiums across the globe from March 2023 through December 2024. The first two episodes debuted on December 12, the day before Swift’s birthday, giving fans an intimate glimpse into her life on and off the stage.

Originally, the final four episodes were scheduled to roll out two at a time over multiple weeks. Episodes three and four are still set to drop at midnight Pacific time on Friday, but now fans will have access to the complete series just ahead of Christmas.

In addition to exploring the massive logistics and emotional moments of the tour, the upcoming episodes will feature appearances by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. While fans heard Swift reference Kelce in earlier episodes, the new installments will show him on screen, including a surprise appearance during a London stop on the tour.

The Eras Tour has become one of the most successful concert tours in history, and the docuseries gives fans a deeper look into what went into bringing it to life night after night.
