House Fire Contained on Barona Road in Palm Springs

Firefighters responded to a house fire Thursday evening at Barona Road and Morongo Trail in Palm Springs.

The fire department received the call around 6 p.m. and had the flames under control within roughly 30 minutes. The home was vacant at the time and undergoing renovations, according to nearby residents. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
