Berger Foundation Announces Leadership Changes to Strengthen Philanthropic Mission

The H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation has announced leadership changes aimed at reinforcing its commitment to philanthropy and long-term stewardship in the Coachella Valley.

Michael B. Rover has been named president and CEO of the foundation, while Christopher M. McGuire will continue to serve as chairman of the board. The foundation’s executive committee also includes Catharine N. Reed, vice president of charitable programs, and Joseph K. Glassett, vice president of finance.

The Berger Foundation is widely recognized as an independent charitable organization that provides grants to local nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life across the region.

Foundation leaders say the updated leadership structure supports the organization’s ongoing mission to invest in impactful initiatives and strengthen the Coachella Valley community for generations to come
