Southwest Arts Festival Returns to Indio This Weekend

The Southwest Arts Festival returns to Empire Polo Club in Indio this weekend, bringing more than 150 artists from across the country for a three-day showcase of fine art, jewelry, and crafts.

The festival runs Friday through Sunday, January 23-25. Organized by the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Indio Chamber of Commerce, it's a juried event that has built a strong reputation over the years, drawing in artists nationwide.

This year's lineup includes traditional, contemporary, and abstract fine art, along with pottery, glass work, and live music throughout the weekend. The event takes place on the polo grounds, with views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Tickets purchased online run $28.52 for general admission and $25.31 for seniors 55 and older (fees included). At the gate, prices are $30 and $25, respectively. Kids 12 and under get in free. All tickets include parking.
