Court Documents Reveal Blake Lively Texted Taylor Swift About Alleged On-Set Harassment

Newly unsealed legal documents are offering fresh insight into the legal battle between actress Blake Lively and director-actor Justin Baldoni, revealing private text messages between Lively and her longtime friend, global music superstar Taylor Swift.
According to court filings released Tuesday in Manhattan, Lively shared details with Swift about what she alleges was sexual harassment during the production of the film It Ends With Us. The messages highlight the support Lively says she received as she navigated the situation behind the scenes.
In one text included in the court documents, Swift described the situation as “a horror film no one knows is taking place,” underscoring the seriousness of the allegations, according to the filing.
Members of Lively’s legal team claim Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, failed to investigate her concerns. The lawsuit alleges Baldoni coordinated a plan to damage Lively’s reputation after she raised those allegations.
Attorneys representing Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios have pushed back strongly, saying the evidence does not support the claims. They maintain the allegations are not substantiated by the materials presented in court.
The legal dispute has grown increasingly complex. Lively has filed suit against Baldoni and his production company, while Baldoni previously responded with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds. That countersuit accused the couple of hijacking the film in an effort to destroy his career.
A judge dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuit last year, clearing the way for Lively’s case to proceed. Her lawsuit is currently scheduled for trial on May 18.
The unsealed text messages are now adding a high-profile new dimension to the case, drawing renewed attention as it moves closer to court.
