EDM artist Anyma was set to debut the world premiere of his new audio-visual experience, “Aiden,” with a scheduled start time of midnight. However, about 15 minutes after the set was supposed to begin, festival organizers announced the performance would not move forward.
The announcement was shared on Coachella’s social media pages and displayed on the main stage screens, where thousands of fans had gathered waiting for the show to begin.
According to the statement, the decision was made due to strong wind conditions impacting the stage setup. Organizers and the artist agreed to cancel the performance, citing safety as the top priority.
The sudden cancellation left a large crowd at the main stage disappointed, as many had stayed late specifically for the debut of Anyma’s new production.
No immediate word was given on whether the performance will be rescheduled later in the festival.

According to officials, negotiations stretched for hours but ultimately broke down over what the U.S. described as non-negotiable demands. Chief among them: Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz and giving up its stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

The Strait of Hormuz has become a central point of tension. While it remained open during earlier negotiations, Iran has since restricted tanker traffic following recent military strikes, contributing to disruptions in global energy markets.
Officials say Iran appears to be using control of the strait as leverage in negotiations, while the U.S. has warned that reopening the waterway is essential.
With the talks now stalled and a temporary ceasefire still in place, it remains unclear whether diplomacy will resume or if tensions could escalate further.

A few very light hit-and-miss showers are possible on Monday, but all West of the Coachella Valley.
On-shore winds will once again be an issue during the afternoon and evening hours today and tomorrow.
As far as temperatures are concerned, the Valley will experience cooler-than normal midday temperatures in the middle-70s today, lower-70s on Monday. We'll be back into the 80s starting Tuesday.
