The day celebrates multiple occasions, starting with National Video Games Day. Did you know the first video game dates all the way back to 1958 with "Tennis for Two"? The conversation quickly turned nostalgic as the team reminisced about classic games like Atari, Pong, and Pac-Man.
National Chocolate Milkshake Day also takes the spotlight, with a surprising historical twist about the original 19th-century recipe that included an unexpected adult ingredient. Meanwhile, World Dolphin Day serves as an important reminder about marine conservation, marking a significant event from 2021.
The day also honors National Police Women's Day, celebrating female officers across the country and right here in the Coachella Valley.
