Cathedral City resident Kristina Bruno, who started a popular "little food pantry" in her front yard to help feed the community, initially faced a setback when she received a 10-day cease and desist order from Code Enforcement. This sparked immediate concern from viewers, one of whom offered free legal assistance.

Appearing on the show, Bruno clarified that the initial fear was misplaced: the City of Cathedral City is now "fully supporting" her efforts. After calling the city, she learned the order was not meant to shut her down but to enforce safety and aesthetic guidelines.
