WELCOME TO THE MONSOONS!

At approximately 2AM Saturday morning the Coachella Valley experienced a Haboob caused by severe weather passing through the region. Although the Coachella Valley didn’t experience any precipitation, communities to the south and east of the valley experienced significant rainfall.

According to Chief Meteorologist Ginger Jeffries, these downpours were the catalyst for our local weather event. Ginger says, "Think of it as wiping a dusty table with a wet paper towel."
