San Diego recaudó más de $1.5 mdd en multas por estacionarse en lugares para discapacitados
En San Diego durante 2021 la policía emitió 3,840 citatorios a conductores que se estacionaron en cajones de uso exclusivo para personas con discapacidad, al no contar con un tarjetón a su nombre que los acreditara para su uso, de acuerdo con un reporte de la ciudad el sábado pasado.
Más de $1,500,000 dólares fueron recolectados por la ciudad a través de dichas multas, ya que cada citatorio viene acompañado de un cargo de $452.50 dólares.

Adicionalmente los uniformados han entregado 637 citatorios por el uso indebido de los tarjetones para discapacitados en el último año, que añade otros $500,000 dólares en multas para las arcas de la ciudad, ya que cada infracción de este tipo se hace acreedora a un pago de $826.50 dólares.

Estas multas son emitidas por la Unidad de Gestión de Aparcamientos del Departamento de Policía de San Diego.
“No deberíamos de tener que decir esto, pero por favor abstengase de estacionarse en los cajones exclusivos para discapacitados si no cuenta con un tarjetón a su nombre que lo acredite”, advirtió la ciudad.

Palm Springs firefighters responded Thursday to a report of a person struck by lightning in the Chino Canyon area. The person was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Firefighters also responded to a palm tree fire in Chino Canyon that officials say was caused by an apparent lightning strike. Estevan Figueroa of King’s Club Barbershop is giving back across the Coachella Valley — one haircut at a time.
