Firebirds take game one of the back-to-back this weekend

A good, clean and crisp hockey game on Saturday night inside Acrisure Arena. The Firebirds welcomed the division-leading Calgary Wranglers to town for the first time this season. Ben Meyers got the party started in the first period with his eighth of the season, followed by John Hayden and Jani Nyman in the second. Ales Stezka followed up his 50 save performance Thursday night and made 33 saves on 34 shots for the win.
