Tina Fey and Will Forte Take You Inside the Funny, Sweet, and Biting “The Four Seasons”

Tina Fey’s return to TV is funny, sweet, sad, but very, very true.  The upcoming show “The Four Seasons” is not about its namesake hotel nor directly related to climate.  The original 1981 film “The Four Seasons” from writer/director Alan Alda, which the 2025 series is based on, was inspired by Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Concerti” (“The Four Seasons”).  These concertos are famous for their descriptive nature with each concerto depicting a different season:  Springs, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

Fey, who also co-wrote and co-created the show with her “30 Rock” comrades Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, star as Kate, the realist wife of Will Forte’s Jack.  The series is about three suburban couples who vacation together each season where a heartfelt drama and laugh out loud comedy is sure to happen every episode.  And each episode is only 30 minutes!  You can easily binge-watch all 8 episodes when it arrives on Netflix on May 1st.

Take a look at my interview with Fey and Forte as they take us behind-the-scenes of “The Four Seasons.”

“The Four Seasons” is now available to stream on Netflix.
