Cathedral City loses heartbreaker in CIF-SS Division 8 Softball Championship and PD's Jax Penny runs in states in the 300m hurdles

The Lions should hold their heads high following a 1-0 loss in the championship game on Saturday in Irvine. It was the first softball championship game in Cathedral City High School history. Also, Palm Desert's Jax Penny ran the 300m Hurdles in the state track and field competition.
