Coachella Valley 911 Lines Go Down Again

911 lines are reported to be down across the Coachella Valley this morning.

The issue was first publicly reported by the Indio Police Department at around 6 a.m. Friday, and they indicated multiple local agencies are experiencing this issue.

We reached out to the Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, and Cathedral City Police Departments for comment on the issue and are awaiting a response on wheter or not they too are having issues.

It is currently unknown when phone lines will be restored.

Again, we stress that Indio PD is the only department to confirm this issue, but they stated that "multiple agencies" are affected, and we wanted to list all applicable departments in case that is true. We have reached out to each department above for confirmation and have, at this time, not heard back.
