La Quinta, CA — The Golf Bar officially opened in La Quinta, offering guests a fully indoor, climate-controlled space to enjoy a wide range of sports simulations — from golf and baseball to soccer and zombie dodgeball.

“We have golf, soccer, baseball, football, delicious food, drinks, and more importantly right now, especially, A.C.,” said Chris Go, president of The Golf Bar.

One of the most popular attractions so far? Zombie dodgeball. “The first thing I want to say is it’s a cardio workout,” Go said. “But it’s a lot of fun. It’s something that all ages can do. You’ve got to save the planet by getting these zombies.”

Go said bringing the venue to La Quinta has been in the works for a while. “We’ve wanted to come out here for years. It’s a great community, not just for the golf, but the people year-round,” he said. “We just wanted to offer a great experience for everybody who's a local.”

The Golf Bar is now open to the public and welcomes visitors of all ages to come play, eat, and cool off — no tee time required.
