Rick Ross Shows Off One of the Largest Residential Pools in the U.S. at ‘The Promise Land’ Estate

Rapper, entrepreneur, and Maybach Music Group CEO Rick Ross is making headlines for more than just his music. At his sprawling 300-acre estate outside Atlanta — aptly named The Promise Land — Ross boasts one of the largest residential pools in the country, holding an impressive 350,000 gallons of water.

The massive pool, maintained by a crew of four from Georgia Plaster and Tile, isn’t just for looks. Ross uses it regularly, especially during the summer, and even incorporates it into his morning meditations. “I love being in the water, you know. I’m (an) Aquarius. Shout out all the Aquariuses,” he told CNN.

Ross also rents out the property for film productions, including 2018’s “Superfly” and the 2021 sequel to “Coming to America.” Each year, he opens the estate to the public for a car show and a ticketed pool party, which he sees as a way to inspire younger generations about what’s possible through hard work and determination.

Known for his high-energy hosting style, Ross recently welcomed fans to this year’s pool party, greeting guests, posing for photos, and popping bottles of Luc Belaire sparkling wine. Brad Baker, who drove three hours from Greenville, South Carolina, described Ross as “just positive energy” and a role model for success.

Ross credits the pool, which he jokingly nicknamed “Wet Wet,” as a source of musical inspiration. “That’s the ghost writer. There’s no way you gonna come out here and not be inspired,” he said with a laugh.

Beyond music, Ross has built a diverse business portfolio, including ownership of multiple Wingstop franchises, a partnership with Luc Belaire, and investments in Rap Snacks. He hopes sharing his success story will help others see a brighter path forward than the one many expected for him growing up.
