Power Restored to Nearly 2500 Imperial Irrigation District Customers

Indio, CA

UPDATE: Power has been restored after nearly four hours.  

Approximately 2,503 customers were without power in the northern part of Indio, according to the Imperial Irrigation District. 

Crews on site determined that there was an issue within the substation. Additional staff members were called in to work on the problem. 

Until the fault was isolated the district did not have an estimated time on restoration. Crews continued to work as quickly as they could.
