Baja California regresa a semáforo naranja y reducen aforo al 50%
Ante el repunte de contagios por coronavirus en Baja California con un promedio de hasta 100 casos por día, el gobierno del estado toma nuevas medidas y regresa al color naranja en el semáforo epidemiológico.
La Gobernadora de Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, anunció las nuevas medidas este lunes, tras reunirse con el Comité Científico que analiza la pandemia del COVID-19, con el fin de frenar el aumento de contagios y priorizar la salud de la población.

“Es fundamental dejar en claro la importancia de la vacunación, ya que de acuerdo a datos científicos, una persona sin vacunar tiene mayor riesgo de contagiar a otras personas, además de que las camas de cuidados intensivos y los respiradores están ocupados justamente por personas que han decidido no vacunarse”, expresó la Gobernadora de Baja California.
Entre los cambios, el principal es el reducir el aforo de negocios, espacios públicos y restaurantes al 50 por ciento.
Se ampliarán los puntos de vacunación en el Estado:
En Tijuana, habrá cuatro centros fijos de vacunación y en Tecate, Rosarito, Ensenada, el Valle de Mexicali, San Felipe y San Quintín, también se contará con un espacio permanente para reforzar la aplicación de la vacuna.

Asimismo, los horarios de vacunación contra el Covid se ampliarán por las tardes, estando en funcionamiento además los sábados y domingos en horario completo, para atender a la mayor cantidad de bajacalifornianos en condiciones de vacunarse.
“Bajacalifornianos, nos encontramos en una nueva etapa de la pandemia, con variantes como el Ómicron, que implican nuevos retos que, con responsabilidad, juntos podemos afrontar. Los invito a poner corazón por delante por la salud de los que más queremos”, finalizó Marina del Pilar durante un mensaje por redes sociales.

Palm Springs firefighters responded Thursday to a report of a person struck by lightning in the Chino Canyon area. The person was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Firefighters also responded to a palm tree fire in Chino Canyon that officials say was caused by an apparent lightning strike.
