Riverside County DA’s Office Opposing Effort to Declare CA Death Penalty Unconstitutional

Monday, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office is making their stance clear: keep the death penalty.

District Attorney Mike Hestrin says the racial disparity statistics are “unreliable” and “demonstrate a misunderstanding of the criminal justice system.”

The American Civil Liberties Union says otherwise.
