Des Moines Chaplain Helps LGBTQ+ Couples Marry Amid Concerns Over Election Results

Following the election of President-elect Trump, concerns over LGBTQ+ rights have spurred many same-sex couples in Iowa to expedite their weddings. Des Moines chaplain Anitta Milloro is stepping up to help, coordinating resources for dozens of couples wanting to secure their rights. Iowa’s Republican Party states they are not currently pursuing changes to marriage protections.
