An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Thursday, November 14, 2024!

Once again, the Coachella Valley will enjoy another pleasant afternoon with sunny skies, dry air and near-normal high temperatures in the upper-70s/lower-80s. Then we will experience a few changes. A low pressure system will beginning moving though the Southwest on Friday dropping temperatures, creating gusty West winds while providing widely scattered precipitation in parts of the Southland. Aside from a few possible sprinkles on the West end of the Valley, it looks like any measurable rainfall will occur from the Inland Empire to the Coast between Friday and Saturday morning. Valley high temps will be noticeably cooler on Friday with highs in the lower-70s, followed by midday numbers in the upper-60s on Saturday. @JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings
