College of the Desert Breaks Ground on Palm Springs Campus

College of the Desert’s long-awaited Palm Springs campus broke ground today on Baristo Road, moving forward after two decades of planning. The new campus aims to serve 3,000-4,000 students, with initial programs in culinary arts, hospitality, film, and media. Construction is set to begin in December, with classes anticipated by spring 2027.
