Your SoCal 'Sunday Morning' Weather Update for Sunday, November 17, 2024!

The Coachella Valley will be under sunny skies with a few mid-level clouds sliding overhead later in the day. You can expect slightly below-normal highs this afternoon in the middle-70s with a light and dry Santa Ana wind flow. As a trough moves through the Southwest to our North on Monday, on-shore winds may become a bit gusty, but only in those wind-prone areas around the Valley. Also, our temperatures will be running slightly lower on Monday as highs are expected to peak in the lower-to-middle 70s. After this disturbance exits our area on Tuesday, a drier Santa Ana wind flow will return along with cooler Valley midday highs in the upper-60s/lower-70s. Next -- as a large ridge of high pressure begins to expand over the West -- the Coachella Valley will begin to warm into the upper-70s/lower-80s this weekend. @JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings
