The Coachella Valley will be under mostly sunny skies this afternoon with strong on-shore breezes and below-normal midday highs in the lower-to-middle 70s. As a frontal boundary clears Southern California -- drier-air out of the North, along with slightly cooler temps will filter into the area tomorrow. You can expect lots of clouds to move overhead on Tuesday with cooler temps in the lower-70s. Then, middle-70s move in on Wednesday, but under clear skies. An upper-level ridge of high pressure will strengthen over the Southwest beginning Friday providing warmer weather in the lower-80s. A potent disturbance will bring widespread precipitation to Southern California next week Tuesday. @JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings
