Michigan State wins Acrisure Holiday Invitational over Vanderbilt 78-70

The Michigan State Lady Spartans took care of business on Wednesday afternoon in the championship of the Acrisure Holiday Invitational over the Vanderbilt Commodores. A great back-and-forth battle between two undefeated teams. Michigan State was up 29-27 at the half. Despite a strong third quarter from Vanderbilt, the Commodores couldn't hold up in the final frame. Grace VanSlooten led all scorers with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Julia Ayrault dropped 24 points and 12 rebounds, also taking home the tournament's most valuable player.
