Palm Springs to Host Hate Crime Related Town Hall Meeting

The city of Palm Springs will be holding a community town hall on Wednesday evening, December 4th regarding concerns of a potential rise in hate crimes in the city. It will be held in the Oasis 3A room of the Palm Springs Convention Center starting at 4 p.m. Police Chief Andy Mills wanted to state to the community that there are currently no serious or credible threats to the city and that this meeting is being held to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in Palm Springs and to help see that the city "remains one of the most secure and inclusive in the nation."
