An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, December 9, 2024!

The Coachella Valley will experience another sunny, warm and dry afternoon as highs once again reach into the upper-70s this afternoon. Then, changes head our way. As a frontal boundary moves through the Southwest, Santa Ana winds will become a bit gusty tonight though Tuesday morning. Valley temps will also cool into the upper-60s/lower-70s Tuesday afternoon. Because of the gusty winds and low relative humidity, a Red Flag Warning has been posted for areas West of the Valley through early-Wednesday morning. We will also experience some of the coolest overnight lows so far this season as Valley lows fall into the middle-30s to lower-40s.
