Coachella Valley Firebirds Host Teddy Bear Donation Pop-Ups on El Paseo and at Big Rock Pub

The Coachella Valley Firebirds are spreading holiday cheer with special community pop-ups today at the shops on El Paseo in Palm Desert and the Big Rock Pub in Indio. Fans and community members are encouraged to donate teddy bears and other stuffed animals in preparation for the highly anticipated Teddy Bear Toss Night on December 28th at Acrisure Arena. The first pop-up event runs from now until 1 p.m. outside the California Pizza Kitchen on El Paseo. Participants who bring stuffed animals—either individually or in bulk—can spin the prize wheel for a chance to win Firebirds merchandise, including sunglasses, jerseys, and other goodies. Later today, from 4 to 7 p.m., the Firebirds will host another pop-up at Big Rock Pub in Indio. Attendees who donate stuffed animals will have a chance to win tickets to upcoming Firebirds games, including tomorrow night’s matchup against the Ontario Reign and the New Year’s Eve game. In addition to supporting a great cause, fans can get an up-close look at the prestigious Cactus Cup, which will be awarded during games on January 3rd and 4th at Acrisure Arena. The Firebirds also announced they’ll host the American Hockey League All-Star Game on February 2nd and 3rd. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this festive tradition. For more details and tickets, visit CVFFirebirds.com or NBCPalmSprings.com. Bring your teddy bears, spin the wheel, and help the Firebirds make Teddy Bear Toss Night one to remember!
