An NBC Palm Springs Heads-Up for Sunday, December 22, 2024!

The Coachella Valley will be covered in mostly cloudy skies today, but you'll still get your above-normal temperatures in the middle-to-upper 70s this afternoon. You'll see a mix of Sun and clouds on Monday as those midday numbers once again warm to about a dozen-degrees above normal. A fast-moving cold front will swing through the Southwest late on Christmas Eve. Although there will widely scattered light showers from the Inland Empire to the Coast Tuesday afternoon and evening, a few sprinkles are possible over the High Desert, San Gorgonio Pass and the West end of the Coachella Valley. This boundary will also kick-up on-shore winds on Tuesday during the late-afternoon/evening hours, especially in those wind-prone areas in-and-around the Valley.
