An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Monday, December 23, 2024!

Although the Coachella Valley will see lots of clouds today, we will still experience above-normal high temperatures in the upper-70s/lower-80s this afternoon. A fast-moving cold front will swing through the Southwest on Christmas Eve. Although there will widely scattered light showers from the Inland Empire to the Coast Tuesday afternoon and evening, only a few sprinkles are possible on the West end of the Valley. This boundary will also kick-up on-shore winds on Tuesday, especially in those wind-prone parts in-and-around the Valley. A Wind Advisory has been posted for those areas Tuesday afternoon and evening. You can expect a quiet Christmas Day with mostly sunny skies, breezy winds and high temps in the middle-70s.
