Aside from a few very high-altitude cirrus clouds today, the Coachella Valley will be under sunny skies and slightly above normal high temperatures in the lower-70s.

As an upper-level ridge of high pressure expands over the Southwest, Valley highs will warm to about ten-degrees above normal the next couple of afternoons.

You can expect lots of sunshine both Sunday and Monday with midday temps in the upper-70s. In fact, those warmer-than-normal numbers will be with us into the first week of the New Year.
