CHP Launches New Year’s Eve Anti-DUI Crackdown
The California Highway Patrol is stepping up its efforts to ensure a safe start to 2025 with an anti-DUI crackdown this New Year’s Eve. Beginning Tuesday at 6 p.m., the CHP will initiate its maximum enforcement period, deploying all available officers to target reckless drivers, speeders, and those under the influence. The crackdown will continue through late Wednesday night as part of the agency’s commitment to reducing traffic-related incidents during the holiday celebrations.
While the CHP focuses on safety, NBC Palm Springs is gearing up to help you ring in the new year with exciting live coverage from all three Agua Caliente Casino properties.
In Palm Springs, the festivities include live music and a spectacular fireworks display, promising a memorable night for attendees. Rancho Mirage will host dining specials and a portable champagne bar, creating an elegant celebration.
