CHP Launches New Year’s Eve Anti-DUI Crackdown

The California Highway Patrol is stepping up its efforts to ensure a safe start to 2025 with an anti-DUI crackdown this New Year’s Eve. Beginning Tuesday at 6 p.m., the CHP will initiate its maximum enforcement period, deploying all available officers to target reckless drivers, speeders, and those under the influence. The crackdown will continue through late Wednesday night as part of the agency’s commitment to reducing traffic-related incidents during the holiday celebrations.
