An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, January 6, 2025!

A weak ridge of high pressure over the Southwest will bring the Coachella Valley another day of above normal temperatures. We’ll see mostly sunny skies this afternoon with highs in the middle-70s.

Next, a low pressure system will provide gusty winds, cooler temperatures and very dry air to the Southland. For both Tuesday and Wednesday, Valley highs will hover around 70-degrees. And – because of strong Santa Ana winds – wind advisories have been posted around the Valley for both days. Also -- with gusty winds and low relative humidity -- the Fire Danger will remain high through Thursday.

Those winds back-off by Thursday while warmer-weather arrives this weekend.
