Indio Woman Killed in Three-Car Crash in Palm Desert Identified
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has identified the woman killed in a three-car crash in Palm Desert late last night as 26-year-old Stephanie Reyes from Indio. Reyes tragically died after becoming trapped inside her vehicle following the crash, which occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on the intersection of Country Club and El Dorado Drive.
According to authorities, one of the vehicles involved was traveling east in the westbound lanes when the collision occurred, leading to the fatal crash. The driver of a second vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, but their condition has not been released.
The cause of the crash remains unclear, and investigators are working to determine if drugs or alcohol were factors. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
This crash marks the latest in a series of accidents in the area, and local authorities are urging drivers to be extra cautious, especially at busy intersections. As the investigation continues, officials are calling for anyone with information to come forward to assist in the case.

A troubling history is coming to light in a Palm Desert husband’s death. 65-year old Vicky Kim is accused in the death of her husband — but prosecutors say she had previously faced several domestic violence cases involving him.
