An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Sunday, January 12, 2025!

Because of very dry air from the top-to-bottom of our troposphere, the Coachella Valley will be under lots of sunshine the next few afternoons. Our highs will be peaking at close-to-normal highs about 70-degrees.

Also, on-and-off gusty Santa Ana winds will be an issue for areas of Southern California through Wednesday. This will be especially true for mountains and their leeward slopes and foothills.

Once again, several weather advisories have been posted for the Southland including an Air Quality Alert, Red Flag Warning, Fire Weather Watch and Wind Advisory.
