Massive Concerts for a Cause, and Justin Timberlake’s Desert Performance

A pair of massive concerts are being planned to raise funds for the victims of the recent Los Angeles fires. The event, called Fire Aid, will feature two shows on January 30th at the Kia Forum and the nearby Intuit Dome, both in Englewood, California. A star-studded lineup is set to perform, with Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lady Gaga, Pink, Katy Perry, Jelly Roll, Lil Baby, Sting, Stephen Stills, and Stevie Nicks all taking the stage. What’s even more exciting is that Dave Matthews and John Mayer will be performing together for the first time, with promises of even more big-name artists to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, in the desert, Justin Timberlake’s highly anticipated "The Forget Tomorrow" tour is coming to Akershire Arena on January 20th. Get ready for a night filled with hits like "Sexy Back" and "Can't Stop the Feeling" as JT lights up the stage. You definitely don’t want to miss this one!

Palm Springs is mourning the loss of beloved entertainer James “Gypsy” Haake, who has died at 94. Haake began his entertainment career at just 19 years old as a Broadway chorus dancer. After retiring from the stage, he returned to performing at 82, becoming the host of Carnival Cabaret at Oscars in downtown Palm Springs. A longtime friend of our station, Haake was a familiar and beloved figure in the Palm Springs entertainment community — and his contributions were recognized with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. His career spanned more than seven decades, proving that the spotlight never truly left him. ❤️ Rest in peace, James “Gypsy” Haake.
