TikTok Restores U.S. Service After Block
TikTok announced today that it had restored service to U.S. users after a temporary suspension the evening before. The company stated that the decision followed assurances from President-elect Donald Trump, which were necessary to its service providers. Hours prior, Trump posted on Truth Social urging TikTok to remain available. He emphasized the app’s importance for broadcasting his upcoming Monday inauguration. Trump also committed to issuing an executive order delaying the enforcement of the law banning TikTok.
