An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Tuesday, January 21, 2025!

Although those Santa Ana Winds continue today for Southern California, only strong breezes are expected in the Coachella Valley. And -- because extremely dry air is still in place -- the Fire Danger remains high.

A High Wind Warning and Red Flag Warning continue for SoCal today for areas from the San Gorgonio Pass into the Inland Empire along with area mountains.

As an upper-level high strengthen, Valley temperatures will heat-up into the upper-70s for your Wednesday and Thursday.

Santa Ana winds will return Wednesday and Thursday... a Fire Weather Watch has already been posted for those two-days.
An area of low pressure will move through the Southwest this weekend proving a chance of precipitation for the area between late-Saturday through Sunday afternoon. Some snow is likely above 4000-feet.
