Jackie the Eagle Lays First Egg

Excitement is soaring at Big Bear Lake as Jackie, the resident bald eagle, laid her first egg today. Just yesterday, Jackie and her mate Shadow were seen bonding on a nearby branch. This marks the start of another nesting season for the beloved pair. Egg-laying and hatching typically occur from January to March, with last year’s eggs laid in late January.
