Southwest Arts Festival Kicks Off in Indio
The Southwest Arts Festival kicked off today in the city of Indio, bringing together over 200 artists from around the world to showcase a variety of traditional, contemporary, and abstract art. Taking place at the scenic Empire Polo Fields, the festival has been a staple event in the community for more than three decades. Visitors can explore a wide range of art forms, including sculptures, photography, digital art, and paintings, making it a must-see event for art lovers.
This year, the festival has undergone several exciting upgrades. With more walking space, a revamped entryway, and a diverse mix of new artists, attendees are in for a treat. Additionally, new food options are available, making it easier for visitors to spend the entire day enjoying the festival. Dan Lachaussai, a renowned artist known for his stunning blown glass pieces, returns once again, bringing his unique, colorful art to the event. “I absolutely love it,” Lachaussa shared, highlighting the joy of showcasing his work in such an inspiring setting.
Festival-goers can purchase tickets online for a discounted price of $25, or $22 for seniors, while those purchasing at the gate will pay a slightly higher price. It’s a great opportunity to experience the world of art in an open, scenic environment. With so much to see and explore, the Southwest Arts Festival promises to be a highlight of the year.
