An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Sunday, January 26, 2025!
Southern California will receive much needed precipitation through Monday morning tied to a Closed-Low moving slowly to the East.
On and off scattered showers are forecast for the Coachella Valley while our mountains finally see significant snowfall.
Valley rain totals will be light, totaling around a tenth-of-an-inch before ending Monday PM. As far as snow totals, Idyllwild may see around 3-inches while The Tram adds six. A Winter Storm Warning has been posted through Monday evening for area mountains above 4000-feet.
Tonight, temperatures in the Valley will bottom-out just above freezing on its Southeast end while lower-40s are expected on the West side. We will still feel the chill Monday afternoon as highs struggle to the lower-to-middle 60s.
