Valiant One and Love Me Hit Theaters: A Review Roundup

Valiant One stars Netflix icons Lana Condor and Chase Stokes, who are thrown into a fight for survival when their U.S. Army helicopter crashes deep in North Korea. The film, based on a true story, is an intense thriller that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. Condor and Stokes shine in their roles, bringing an exciting and thrilling experience to the screen. With a great soundtrack, Valiant One pulls you in, leaving you with a nail-biting story until the very end. On the other hand, Love Me is a post-apocalyptic romance starring Kristen Stewart as a buoy and Steven Yeun as a satellite, exploring themes of identity and connection. Directed by the husband and wife team known as the Soqueros, Love Me has a unique and thought-provoking premise, driven by the stellar performances of Stewart and Yeun. Palm Springs is mourning the loss of beloved entertainer James “Gypsy” Haake, who has died at 94. Haake began his entertainment career at just 19 years old as a Broadway chorus dancer. After retiring from the stage, he returned to performing at 82, becoming the host of Carnival Cabaret at Oscars in downtown Palm Springs. A longtime friend of our station, Haake was a familiar and beloved figure in the Palm Springs entertainment community — and his contributions were recognized with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
