Cathedral City Student Wins PSUSD Spelling Bee

Juniper Donavan, an eighth grader from Nellie N. Coffman Middle School, won the PSUSD Spelling Bee of Champs on Friday morning. She secured victory in the fifth round by correctly spelling "facetious." Juniper will now represent Palm Springs Unified School District at the Riverside County Spelling Bee on March 26. The runner-up was Acelin Thurman, an eighth grader from Painted Hills Middle School. Both students were recognized for their impressive spelling skills and hard work.
