Your SoCal Weather Briefing for Saturday, February 1, 2025!

The Coachella Valley will begin with some cloud cover this morning which should clear-out during the afternoon hours. Also -- after several days of near-normal high temperatures -- we'll begin to warm-up.

As an upper-level ridge of high pressure begins to build over the Southwest, Valley high temperatures will move into the middle-to-upper 70s this afternoon, followed by lower-80s on Sunday and Monday.

We are still up-in-the-air regarding the timing and coverage of precipitation next week. Most computer models suggest the best shot of rain for Southern California will be on Wednesday, while another couple of forecasts have a second wave swinging through the area on Friday. Either way, it appears most of the action will stay to the North and West of the Valley.

After starting with midday highs in the lower-80s, the Valley will slip back into the 70s for the second-half of next week.
