Villa Roma Earns Historic District Status

Villa Roma homeowners celebrated their new historic district designation with a special ceremony today. The event featured the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at 301 East Avenida Granada, set against the iconic Temple of Venus Fountain. To further highlight the community’s architectural significance, a guided tour is planned for February 15th. The tour will showcase seven homes, the clubhouse, and other key architectural features. Residents and preservationists see this recognition as a milestone in protecting the neighborhood’s unique mid-century charm.
