This Week's SoCal Precipitation Forecast (02/04/2025)
A Low Pressure system to our North will direct an Atmospheric River of moisture over Southern California this week.
The two best shots of widely scattered showers will be on Wednesday, then again between late-Thursday and early-Friday. Although areas from the Inland Empire to the Coast (along with area mountains) will see some accumulative action, the Coachella Valley will stay rain-free.
In fact, the Valley will see mostly sunny skies Wednesday and Thursday with a few fair-weather high clouds on Friday along with above-normal high temperatures in the 70s each afternoon.
The disturbance will also trigger gusty on-shore winds each day through Thursday around sunset for those wind-prone areas such as the San Gorgonio Pass and Desert Hot Springs.
