PS Test Raises Money To Provide Free STD Testing

It was a big night Thursday for a Palm Springs non-profit whose goal is to lower the high rate of sexually transmitted infections in the valley.

Several hundred supporters gathered at Toucans to attend the second annual cocktail party and silent auction for "PS Test."

They're the only 100-percent free confidential testing and treatment center for S.T.D's in our region.

Former DAP physician Dr. Phyllis Ritchie founded PS Test after seeing the rates of sexually transmitted diseases skyrocket in the Palm Springs area.

Last year PS Test provided free testing and treatment to more than 15-hundred patients. If you would like to donate or make an appointment for testing, their website is www.healthypstest.org.
