An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Saturday, February 8, 2025!
There is another chance of rain on-the-way, so get outside and enjoy the next few afternoons before the skies open-up!
Today, the Coachella Valley will be under lots of fair-weather high clouds with another day of above-normal temperatures. Along with this afternoon's filtered sunshine will be highs close to 80°. More of the same for Super Sunday, but with thicker mid-level clouds.
You can expect lots of sunshine on Monday with breezy on-shore winds and upper-70s. Cooler air moves in beginning Tuesday.
A deepening upper-level low will play a major role in directing heavy moisture from an Atmospheric River over Southern California beginning Wednesday.
As of today, it looks like there will be precipitation over the Southland between Wednesday evening and Saturday. For the Coachella Valley, our wet window appears to be Thursday and Friday.
Advisories -- because of possible flooding -- will most likely be posted next week, with additional concern around mountainous burn-scar areas.
Stay tuned!
