Big Tech's AI Spending to Hit $325 Billion in 2025, Up 46%

According to Market Briefs, Big Tech is going all in on artificial intelligence. Companies like Meta (META +0.36%), Amazon (AMZN -4.05%), and Google (GOOG -3.19%) are projected to spend a combined $325 billion on AI technology in 2025. That marks a significant 46% jump from the estimated $225 billion these companies shelled out in 2024.

Why does this matter? AI remains one of the hottest sectors in tech, and major players are continuing to fuel its growth with massive investments. This surge in spending is particularly good news for AI infrastructure providers like Nvidia (NVDA +0.90%) and Vertiv (VRT +1.52%), which are positioned to benefit from the expanding AI market.

As Big Tech pours billions into artificial intelligence, it’s clear that AI innovation isn't slowing down anytime soon. Meanwhile, some of us are still waiting for our office ping pong table to get fixed.
