Phoenix Man Reunited with Dog After Eight Years
After eight long years apart, Paul, a Phoenix resident, is finally reunited with his beloved Mini Doberman, Damian. The two were separated during a cross-country trip, and despite Paul’s relentless search, they lost hope after a week of searching with no leads. The heart-wrenching separation seemed final—until a woman in Oklahoma City nearly hit Damian on the road.
Damian was brought to a local vet, where his microchip was scanned, leading to a surprising phone call that Paul never expected. The microchip proved to be the lifeline they both needed, and soon, Paul learned that his furry companion was alive and well, awaiting their reunion.
Now, after all these years, Paul and Damian are back together, catching up on lost time with adventures, snuggles, and an abundance of love. The reunion is a testament to the power of persistence and the unbreakable bond between a pet and their owner.

Palm Springs firefighters responded Thursday to a report of a person struck by lightning in the Chino Canyon area. The person was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Firefighters also responded to a palm tree fire in Chino Canyon that officials say was caused by an apparent lightning strike.
